Rashida Cruz is the Board President of Atlantis Centers Inc. She has a life long passion for integrative medicine, music therapy, healing arts and higher education. Rashida has worked with organizations such as Waters & Sims Employment Services as an instructor to aid at risk youth and adults with disabling challenges. She is a course author of Brookdale Community College’s Introduction to Music Business course and teaches Music Business at Monmouth University’s Department of Music and Theatre. Rashida has also worked with Trilogy Education Services to aid a diverse population of students enrolled in Rutgers University, Northwestern University, University of Toronto, University of Southern California, University of Massachusetts and University of San Diego. In her role at Trilogy she aided students in reducing anxiety, improving work-life balance and the pursuit of their educational goals. Rashida earned her Masters of Science in Business at Georgian Court University and is a member of the GRAMMY Museum Affiliate Program and Music Business Association.

Nelly Fadil, with the help of her mother Dr. Ayoub, established Waves of Equality in 2015. Nelly is currently enrolled in Ranney School, where she has been since 2007. She was born in Houston, Texas and now resides in New Jersey. She wants to establish a community where everyone is respected and treated fairly no matter their mental, emotional, or physical challenge.
About Teresa Maltz, Horticultural Therapist, HTR and Educator
Teresa Maltz has been a registered Horticultural Therapist through the American Horticultural Therapy Association since 2008. She is presently working towards a Masters Degree in Holistic Health Studies at Georgian Court University. She has a BA in Psychology from Rutgers College and is certified as a Teacher of the Handicapped. In addition to working as a Horticultural Therapist, she has been working as a Teacher of the Handicapped in a three year Arc of Monmouth transitional program for young adults with intellectual and learning disabilities at Brookdale Community College and is a support staff for the Arc of Monmouth’s Achievement Zone.
Teresa has worked with individuals with varied ages and populations. Her diverse background includes psychology, sociology education, holistic health and horticulture. Her mission is to inspire people through nature and horticulture. She enjoys helping people to help themselves to connect with plants and nature which will ultimately have a beneficial effect on their health and well-being.

Doreen Laperdon-Addison (MA, CMA, RSME) is a somatic movement education specialist, adjunct professor, choreographer, and performer who has appeared on stage, video, film and TV. She is a Registered Somatic Movement Educator through the International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association (ISMETA.) She earned her Masters Degree in Dance Education from Columbia University and is a Certified Movement Analyst receiving her certification from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, NYC. She has a BFA in Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts, NYC.
Her rich eclectic background includes somatic movement, dance, and healing practices, Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Ideokinesis, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reiki, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Adagio, Ballroom, and Latin dancing.
Doreen is a dedicated practitioner of Wisdom Healing Qi Gong with over 7 years of experience. She has studied vocal technique as a way to deepen and broaden her understanding between movement and the human voice. Doreen continues to explore movement as a way to enrich and inform both her professional practice and personal growth.
